Recently Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School was recognized as a being a newly designated Exemplary Model Arts School. As one of only four in the entire state of Florida, this is definitely a large milestone. Understanding the importance of creating well-rounded students who not only master academic skills, but also grasp the details associated with the arts and culture is an essential component of Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School.
As part of the four-step approval process Apalachee underwent a very detailed site visit and interview process last month that secured their spot as a model school. Additionally, students perform musical selections during a press conference to celebrate Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts' latest designation as a model arts school.
