Frenchtown Financial provides access to financial resources and help on how to manage them in a way that will positively impact families for generations.
The Frenchtown Financial Opportunity Center is a community-based resource opened in 2016 that focuses on financial literacy and economic education to assist the residents of Tallahassee's historic Frenchtown community.
Frenchtown Financial Opportunity Center (FFOC) is powered by FSU Credit Union and Envision Credit Union and is the result of a relationship between these Tallahassee-area financial institutions to provide financial services to a community that had been historically underserved. The basic concept for an institution such as FFOC began years ago with Frenchtown revitalization efforts led by Reverend Dr. R.B. Holmes, his staff, and the congregation of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, a Tallahassee institution that traces its roots back nearly 200 years.
Those who live or work in Leon County and several neighboring communities are eligible to take advantage of the FREE resources FFOC offers. Whether for individuals or community groups, FFOC provides access to resources and assistance on managing finances in a way that will make a positive impact for generations.
